Whilst experts agree that widespread autonomous driving remains many years out, its potential to transform the ride-hailing sector remains significant, cutting driver costs and boosting safety and efficiency. That said, switching to autonomous vehicles (AVs) could also require a fundamental shift in the way ride-hailing companies conduct their business.
